Before jumping to conclusions, note that I have no intention in suggesting you to make lemonade or anything like this. Obviously, there is no reason not to enjoy this tasty drink, but if you decide to make lemonade at least keep in mind not to throw the peels away. They have so many uses that it would be a shame for them to go to waste, so regardless of what you used to do with the peels in the past, get ready to find new and amazing ways of extracting value from them.
Since you are already making lemonade, use the lemon peels as an ingredient for other drinks because these add flavor and go well with ice cubes. Furthermore, they are rich in vitamins and minerals, and they are a good addition to most dishes, in terms of both flavor and nutrients. I try to limit the amount of sugar I consume, but there are cases when honey just won’t do it and these are the times when I use brown sugar.
Assuming you do the same, remember that lemon peels help it stay soft and it won’t cost you anything to save these peels instead of discarding them. If neither of these solutions are appealing to you, at least consider using lemon peels as cleaning agents because they work wonders around the house. In conjunction with vinegar and water, it can remove even the most persistent stains, without leaving a trail of potentially harmful chemicals.
