Powerful alpha hydroxy acids are found in apple cider vinegar, and those acids help to slough away dead skin cells. This helps reveal younger, healthier skin cells. Quite a few skincare products note that they have alpha hydroxy acids in their products, but they usually only contain small amounts.
You can get far higher levels of alpha hydroxy acids when using apple cider vinegar. After all, when commercial skincare products say they contain “natural” ingredients, those ingredients are usually useless and dead when they are processed and put in packages.
