DIY Out the Shower Perfumed Body Powder Tutorial

Body powder is one of my favorite beauty products and I get even more enthusiastic about it during the hot summer days. Who wants to feel sweaty and hot? I certainly try to do everything in my power to avoid this sensation. Going back to body powder, it makes me feel “fresh” throughout the day and this is why I use it all over my body. I even put some in my shoes because it makes my feet soft and it keeps them dry.

There is one more reason for giving the perfumed powder a try – its amazing scent. This is the one thing you should be putting on after a shower if you want to have that delicious body scent throughout the day. I’ve tried all kinds of body fragrances, deodorants, antiperspirants, and cologne. They simply lack the longevity of body powder.

You’ll need:

  • a cotton ball/ cotton pad
  • a glass jar with a lid
  • your favorite perfume
  • baby powder (“scented” is fine because the perfume will be stronger )
OR you can use Pure cornstarch / arrowroot powder – Cornstarch makes a great, economical body powder, and eliminates the chemicals found in many commercial powders
  • pretty jar/container
