Every once in a while I come across a video that makes me want to try a project immediately. When I saw YouTube video from WhatsUpMoms, I just had to try the idea. It didn’t matter that I had no white sneakers or fabric either. It was time to go shopping so I could get some and try it immediately. The new look for the sneakers was fabulous and I knew it would make the perfect gift. In fact, I loved it so much, I decided to make a pair for myself.
What’s great about this idea is that I can create the perfect match for any outfit. It was a great gift idea for both my 10 year old niece and her mother. Of course, they both got a different design and style, with mom’s being far more sophisticated and less frilly than her daughter’s. Speaking of frilly, I wonder if I put enough glitz on the shoe whether it would work for a dressy occasion. I just hate dancing in heels. Probably not, but I’m sure once you watch the video, you’ll find plenty of ways to use this idea and make lots of people happy, including yourself. Yes, I did make a pair just for me.
