Sometimes you miss that sleepable moment when you can easily doze off with no hassle. It leaves you wide awake, but not with enough energy to get anything done. Instead, you lay in bed with your eyes open, thinking of everything you need to do. Sometimes you know you’re not going to sleep, long before you hit the bed. You’ve had a stressful day with lots of loose ends and you’ll be tying them all night long before your brain will allow any ZZZZs.
I hate not sleeping. I hate laying in bed, tossing and turning and not benefiting from the time I’m there. I hate finally dozing off, just about the time the birds are chirping and the sun’s rising, knowing it’s time to get up and start another day. I know I’m not the only one or New York Magazine. Com wouldn’t have bothered creating a video to offer a tip to help people sleep. The idea is so simply, you’ll be amazed at just how easy it is and just how well it works.
The ultimate sleep hack? Put your feet outside of your duvet. Yes, really.
I tried it after dozing off early in the evening only to find my eyes wide open and my body ready to roll when actual bed time came rolling up. I was amazed that this hack really works. Within a few minutes, I really don’t remember how many because I fell asleep, I was out like a light.
Watch this nice little video which explains it all, including a bit more of the sciency stuff and kiss good-bye to insomnia.
