How to Fold a Fitted Sheet (Without Crumpling It Into a Ball)

how to fold a fitted sheet fast

If you’re like most people, folding top sheets are hard enough when you’re by yourself, but they’re doable. They turn out nicely folded and ready to put away within a minute or two. However, the dreaded fitted sheet isn’t nearly as co-operative. Folding it alone is next to impossible, and when you work with another to fold it, it’s the fuel to start a huge fight because it simply doesn’t turn out right.

When I first read the title my thought went to how I’ve decided to fold the dreaded fitted sheet…..wad it into a huge ball and stuff it in the drawer next to the other wadded fitted sheet. After all, don’t the wrinkles pull out when you pull it down over the edges of the bed.

The only problem with that theory is that you can only fit five sheets in a drawer when you do it that way….and only if you have large drawers. If you store them in a linen closet, they fall out the minute you open the door.

I fell in love with this video and now have oodles of space. This made a tough job easy, and the results are far more attractive than my previous method of folding. Watch it and you’ll be amazed at just how easy folding fitted sheets can become when you know the right technique. You’ll want to share it with your friends. I know I wanted to and just did it.
