The longer I live, the more I wished I would have watched how my mother did things. She worked every since I could remember, but still managed to get everything done and have a social life. Granted, she worked close enough to the house I could run to the store and tattle on my sister, but it was the time she used to work that puts a kink in most women’s schedules.
I did manage to pick up a few tricks. Besides working, which I think was primarily for her own sanity, she was also extremely frugal. I did learn many of those tips and included them with the time savers.
