② Cut Cherry Tomatoes Quickly
If you have two plastic lids for cup or two cup containers—or even cottage cheese lids—you can use them as a quick method of cutting cherry tomatoes. Use one lid with the lip up and fill it with the cherry tomatoes. Top it with the other lid, lip down. The two lids will hold the tomatoes in place while you use a sharp knife to slice the space between them, cutting all the cherry tomatoes in half at once.
