Since the skin around your eyes is so delicate, sensitive and thin, it’s important to treat it carefully. One common problem people deal with is dark circles under the eyes. However, these circles may appear for a couple of different reasons.
Two different types of dark circles exist. Some include dark pigmentation along with blood vessels showing up under the eyes. Others are simply a darkening of the skin’s pigmentation.
Lack of Sleep Usually Isn’t the Problem
One common misconception about dark circles is that lack of sleep causes them. However, in most cases, lack of sleep isn’t the cause of those circles. I know that when I was a kid, many people noticed my under dark eye circles and thought I was tired. However, a lack of sleep wasn’t the problem at all. Most adults even think that under dark eye circles are caused by a lack of sleep.
