I like giving my metabolism a kick-start each day and I do it by making my fat-melting warm cayenne pepper and lemon water. I simply heat up some water on the stove, add my key ingredients and enjoy a warm drink. Not only does it get my digestive system going in the morning, but it also helps to cleanse my body of toxins.
When you wake up each morning, your body is dehydrated. After all, you haven’t had anything to drink or eat throughout the night. So, instead of grabbing tea or coffee, hitting some warm cayenne pepper and lemon water is great for your body. It helps hydrate your body, unlike coffee or tea.
Since I’ve been drinking this warm drink each morning, I’ve also started losing a few lbs. I’m already exercising and eating right, but with this drink, my metabolism is getting a helpful boost, which is improving my weight loss results.
What you will need:
- ACV (raw apple cider vinegar) with the mother (braggs brand) – OR you can make ACV from scratch – recipe here
- a dash of cayenne or ground chili pepper (You can find this in the spice aisle of your grocery store)
- Lemon juice
- Straw- I drink this with a straw so that I keep a lot of the acid of the lemon juice away from my teeth.
