⑩ A Wooden Spoon Can Prevent Unnecessary Cleanup
This is one of my very favorite tips. I learned it from my mother-in-law who continually chastised me because I cook almost everything on the stove on high heat. One day, she said, “If you’re going to continue being The Flash of cooking, at least lay a wooden spoon across the top of the pan so it doesn’t boil over and mess up the stove.” It works like a charm, even for The Kitchen Flash.
