If you have a bottle with a narrow mouth—smaller than a cherry—and a chop stick, you can pit cherries fast. Just put the cherry with the stem inside the bottle and push on it with the chopstick. The pit and stem goes in the bottle and the meaty part falls to the side, ready to use.
